You simply enter in what you eat, and the site keeps a running total of your daily calories. It'll even let you track additional nutritional data such as fat, sodium, carbs, fiber, and protein - so you can use it for specialized diets like low-sodium and high-fiber diets.
You can also save nutritional data for meals you eat frequently, so you won't have to re-type the data the next time you eat those meals. The meal builder will even do all the work of figuring out calories per serving - all you have to do is enter in the different ingredients.
